Thomas is an Iowa native, born a Hawkeye in Iowa City, grew up in Urbandale/DSM and then a moved to the Marion/Cedar Rapids area in 1997 with his family.  After an unexpected, but positive, life-changing experience as part of a high school graduation gift, Thomas chose to pursue a career in massage and began the LMT program at Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Stone City, Iowa, in 2000.

After graduating in 2001, he spent several years practicing massage at resort spas, athletic clubs, pain management centers, and salon/spas in Arizona.  He moved back to Eastern Iowa/Cedar Rapids in 2012 and found his home practicing massage at My Chiro!

He enjoys anything outdoors including sand volleyball, bicycling, watersports as well as car shows, art shows and music. He has called Cedar Rapids his home for the last 15 years with his wife and new baby girl, Vanessa.

Thomas enjoys working with people of all types but here are a few areas of focus:

• Swedish Massage (light, medium, firm pressure)
• Sports massage techniques (rotator cuff, low back/piriformis and leg/hip issues)
• Occipital/Cranial area tension release
