Shanda was born and raised on a farm in Oxford, Iowa. She received her Associates Degree from Iowa Lakes Community College in 2008 and her Bachelor’s Degree from Mount Mercy College in 2010 and later graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2013. She practiced in Tennessee for ten years before returning to her home state to be closer to her family and friends. When she is not at work, she’s spending time with her kids, helping on her family’s farm and hiking. During her time at Mount Mercy, Shanda received her first every chiropractic adjustment from a My Chiro practitioner and this peaked her interest in the profession. She has always loved helping others, and she joined the My Chiro staff in the spring of 2024 and is looking forward to serving this community.
