Hi, my name is Colin Shepherd and I am originally from Wayland, Iowa. I went to WACO High School, where I met my wife, and graduated in 2009. After high school, I went to Scott Community College to work towards entering a program in chiropractic. I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in June of 2015 with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Doctorate in Chiropractic.

What brought me to chiropractic was my involvement in athletics. I graduated from a small high school where I had the opportunity to be active in a variety of extracurricular activities. However, I was what you would call injury prone during high school sports. If it wasn’t one thing, it was always another. There is one time in particular that I remember better than the others -- I injured my leg in wrestling and I was told by my medical doctor that I would be out for at least a month. I decided to go to the chiropractor for the first time and I was back to being healthy within two weeks. After that experience, I knew that I wanted to be a chiropractor so that I could help people the same way chiropractic helped me.

My goal is to provide my patients with care that will allow them to live a full and healthy life. I am excited to be part of a team with the same goal in mind and look forward to meeting you.
